about

THE DISCLAIMER
Recorded on Saturday, December 23th 2000. This is a live improvised non-premeditated quartet performance recorded in one go with stereo microphone directly to MiniDisc recorder. Songs were cut and named afterwards. For personnel, see below.

THE REVIEWS
"A true Christmas gift."
"I cannot stand stuff like this. It's awful."

THE STORY
Once upon a time, in a mystical land of Slovenia, in mysterious city of Ljubljana, in mythical district of Moste, in minuscule part called Kodeljevo, in an underground shelter simply called the place, there was a free improvisational collective of musicians that were neither. Neither musicians or a collective. But not really.

To solve the dilemma, they've instead named and adopted an entity that embodied in-between them.

In regular weekly meetings from 1997 to 2001, on the turn of the Decade! the Century! the Millenium!!, they've decided to register and record it all - to have all the the proof of how they've managed to change the world. See the scars! See the stitches! See the bloodstains! See all that was lost and found and lost again in the circumstances unexplainable! Witnesses can be brought forward! It's all true!

And after 20 and more years, these pure stereo-microphone urban field-recordings are bubbling to the surface, without necessary nostalgia or obligatory personal attachment.

about

Veprah Ljubljana, Slovenia

Between 1997 and 2001, a group of people who happened to play real and imaginary instruments, were gathering weekly to see if they can come up with something that will mutually come up with them. They diligently managed to pretend they don't think much about it, while silently but loudly enjoying it all. ... more
